The Maharashtra government has approved a proposal to rename Pune airport as Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Pune International Airport in honour of the 17th-century saint.
The airport is located in Lohgaon, Pune, which is also the birthplace of Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj.
