  • Padma Shri Dr. P.T. Usha, President of the Indian Olympic Association and Member of Parliament, inaugurated the National Maritime Games 2025 at the Indian Maritime University (IMU) in Navi Mumbai, which includes over 20 sports competitions. 
  • During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. P.T. Usha emphasized the importance of sportsmanship, discipline, and unity, and also launched the swimming and table tennis competitions.
