PM Modi and Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam jointly inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Public Service and Innovation in Reduit, Mauritius.
This project promotes capacity building in Mauritius under the India-Mauritius development cooperation.
Under the 2017 agreement, India provided a grant of 4.74 million US dollars. The institute will work on training civil servants, research, and excellence in public administration.
This institute reflects India's credibility in the Indian Ocean region and its commitment to the Global South.
