The 45th 'Flying Daggers' and 221st unit 'Valents' of the Indian Air Force will be awarded the President's Standard.
The 11th Base Repair Depot and the 509 Signal Unit will also be provided with President's Colours.
The standard time for awarding these awards is the last 25 years of service.
The 45th Squadron was raised in 1959 with Vampire Aircraft and participated in Goa's freedom struggle.
The 221st Squadron was established in 1963 at Barrackpore with vampire aircraft and was also involved in action in the 1965 war.
