President Droupadi Murmu will confer the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards for the years 2022 and 2023 to 94 eminent artists in various fields of performing arts.
Additionally, seven eminent artists will be honored with the esteemed Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship (Akademi Ratna) during the ceremony, recognizing their exceptional contributions to their respective performing art forms.
The Sangeet Natak Akademi Awards, instituted since 1952, signify the highest standard of excellence and achievement in the field of performing arts, acknowledging sustained individual work and contribution.
