The first convocation of the Central Sanskrit University in New Delhi was graced by the presence of President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu, who emphasized the significance of Indian culture and the pivotal role of Sanskrit language in preserving and promoting this rich heritage.
University Vice Chancellor Prof. Srinivas Varakhedi graced the event by sharing his significant contribution to the field of education and culture of the University.
Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, expressed gratitude to President Murmu for her guidance and underscored the government's commitment to promoting Sanskrit language and education. He emphasized the role of NEP2020 in integrating Sanskrit and Indian knowledge tradition with modern education, aiming to empower students and contribute to nation-building efforts.
