  • Karnataka Bank Ltd has received permission from the Reserve Bank of India to appoint Pradeep Kumar Panja, an Independent Director of the bank, as part-time non-executive Chairman for a three-year term beginning November 14.
  • Pradeep Kumar Panja retired as Managing Director (Corporate Banking) of State Bank of India (SBI).
  • He is currently a member of the Banks Board Bureau (BBB) and a director on the boards of seven firms (three of which are publicly traded, including Karnataka Bank) involved in asset reconstruction, cement, real estate, NBFCs, and AFIs, among other things.
