Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Semicon India 2025’ conference at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, calling it a defining milestone in India’s semiconductor journey. The event witnessed participation from leading global CEOs, International delegates, entrepreneurs and students, underlining India’s growing role in the global technology ecosystem. Modi highlighted that more than $18 billion has already been invested across ten major projects, with approvals streamlined through a single-window system and modern plug-and-play semiconductor parks offering world-class infrastructure.
