Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan on his 75th birthday. The nationwide health drive (17 Sept–2 Oct) focuses on women, children and family well-being. Over 1 lakh health camps will be held for screenings of anaemia, cancer, diabetes, TB, PCOD and mental health. The campaign also promotes maternal care, child nutrition and awareness through Anganwadi workers, NGOs and volunteers. Coinciding with the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, the Abhiyaan aims to empower women and ensure a healthier India by 2047.
