  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first Hindu temple built in the UAE. The construction of the temple was going on since 2019 and its cost is Rs 700 crore.
  • A total of 18 lakh bricks have been used in the temple and marble has also been used in it. Stones from Rajasthan have also been used to enhance the grandeur of the temple.
  • The construction work of this temple has been done by the BAPS organization located on Sheikh Zayed Highway in Abu Dhabi. The government has donated land for this temple.
  • There is also a marble carving made from over 25,000 stone pieces by skilled craftsmen from Rajasthan and Gujarat for the temple. For this, a large number of pink sandstones have been brought from northern Rajasthan.
