The bioethanol plant, India’s first to use bamboo, supports green energy and benefits local farmers and tribal communities. PM Modi highlighted Assam’s role in strengthening India’s energy and petrochemical sectors and noted the government’s ₹18,000 crore developmental allocation for the state.
