Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a national master plan for multi-modal connectivity worth 100 lakh crores, with the goal of developing infrastructure to reduce logistic costs and boost the economy.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the people of India, Indian industry, Indian business, Indian manufacturers, and Indian farmers are at the heart of this massive Gati Shakti campaign.
The PM GatiShakti plan entails the establishment of a common umbrella platform through which infrastructure projects can be efficiently planned and implemented through real-time coordination between various ministries/departments.
