  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a national master plan for multi-modal connectivity worth 100 lakh crores, with the goal of developing infrastructure to reduce logistic costs and boost the economy.
  • The Prime Minister emphasised that the people of India, Indian industry, Indian business, Indian manufacturers, and Indian farmers are at the heart of this massive Gati Shakti campaign.
  • The PM GatiShakti plan entails the establishment of a common umbrella platform through which infrastructure projects can be efficiently planned and implemented through real-time coordination between various ministries/departments.
