Two-time Olympic medallist P. V. Sindhu has been elected Chair of the Badminton World Federation Athletes’ Commission for 2026–2029, becoming a key voice for players globally. Serving on the BWF Council, she will influence policy and strategic decisions while advocating for athlete welfare. Sindhu, associated with the commission since 2017 and a BWF Integrity Ambassador, succeeds Greysia Polii. Debora Jille is Deputy Chair, with other members including An Se-young, Hany Doha, Jia Yifan, and para-badminton representatives.
