  • The first centrally funded government Homeopathy College in north India will come up in Jasrota area of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. 
  • The college will be built at a cost of around Rs 80 crore.
  • This Government Homeopathic College marks the significant progress in the health and education sector of J&K and reflects the government's initiative to integrate various Ayurvedic medicine systems together.
  • With the establishment of this college, the people of North India will get the facility of cheap and effective homeopathic treatment and will provide cost-effective treatment options to the patients.
