The Nobel Prize for Literature was announced by the Swedish Academy in October, 2023.
The Nobel Prize for Literature for the year 2023 has been announced to be given to Norwegian writer John Foss'.
The award is given for his innovative plays and prose that give voice to untold emotions.
Foss's first novel was published in the year 1983 under the name 'Red Black'.
John Fosse, this year's Nobel Laureate in Literature, writes novels in a style known as 'Fosse Minimalism'.
The Nobel Prize in Literature awards an amount of approximately $11 million.
