Every year, the second Wednesday in March is observed as No Smoking Day.
The purpose of this day is to raise awareness about the dangers of smoking and to spread awareness about it.
The theme for No Smoking Day 2025 is: "Unmasking the Appeal" (highlighting the attraction of smoking). No Smoking Day started in 1984 in the United Kingdom.
