  • The National Health Authority (NHA) and IIT Kanpur have signed an agreement for the use of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. 
  • The objective of this agreement is to bring significant changes in health research through Artificial Intelligence with innovative data platforms.
  • The agreement was signed by the National Health Authority (NHA) and IIT Kanpur in the presence of Union Health Secretary Apurva Chandra at Nirman Bhawan on September 11.
  • Under this agreement, various machine learning model pipelines will include a federal learning platform, a quality-preserving database, an open benchmarking platform for comparison and validation of AI models, and a consent management system for research under the Ayushman India Digital Mission (ABDM) which will be developed by IIT Kanpur.
