The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has earned recognition from Guinness World Records for hosting the highest-viewed live YouTube lesson on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare. Conducted under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the nationwide programme trained registered medical practitioners in AI applications such as diagnostics, clinical decision-making and patient monitoring.
NBEMS President Dr Abhijat Sheth described the achievement as a milestone in digital medical education. The initiative reflects India’s growing adoption of technology in healthcare and reinforces NBEMS’ commitment to competency-based learning and continuous professional development.
