Navneet Kumar Sehgal, a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Chairman of Prasar Bharati, the public broadcasting agency of India.
He succeeds Surya Prakash and will serve as the Chairman for a term of three years or until he reaches the age of 70, whichever comes earlier, as per the order from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
