National Cancer Awareness Day 2025

India observed National Cancer Awareness Day on 7 November 2025 to spread awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. The day also commemorates Nobel laureate Marie Curie’s birth anniversary, honoring her contributions to cancer research. With over 1.4 million new cases reported annually, the focus this year was on early screening, healthy lifestyles, and tobacco control. Under the theme “United by Unique,” health institutions and NGOs nationwide organized awareness and screening programs.
