  • A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN) and the Indian Maritime University (IMU) in Chennai. 
  • The purpose of this collaboration is to enhance the maritime enforcement and operational capabilities of CBIC officials, strengthening the maritime customs training center, as well as providing a platform for mutual learning and institutional synergy between NACIN and IMU. 
  • This collaboration is a significant step towards improving the capabilities of CBIC officials engaged in maritime preventive actions, thereby strengthening collective efforts in safeguarding national security.
