  • NASA launched the PUNCH mission on February 28 via SpaceX, which will study the solar atmosphere and map the origin and evolution of solar winds and coronal mass ejections (CMEs).
  • This will be the first solar mission specifically designed to measure the corona and solar winds in 3D using the polarization of light.
