NASA launched the PUNCH mission on February 28 via SpaceX, which will study the solar atmosphere and map the origin and evolution of solar winds and coronal mass ejections (CMEs).
This will be the first solar mission specifically designed to measure the corona and solar winds in 3D using the polarization of light.
