· India's 14-year-old shooter Namya Kapoor has won a gold medal in the women's 25m air pistol event at the ISSF Junior World Championships being held in Lima, Peru.
· Namya Kapoor finished on the top step of the podium ahead of bronze medalist Manu Bhaker of India.
· Kapoor collected 36 points in the final, leading 33 points ahead of Camille Jedrzejevski of France.
