The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) has launched a Comprehensive Internship Policy to strengthen India’s sports ecosystem by nurturing young professionals. Under the policy, 452 internships will be offered annually across MYAS and key bodies like SAI, NADA and NDTL. The programme provides hands-on exposure in sports governance, administration, sports science and anti-doping, aligning with the National Sports Policy and Khelo Bharat Niti 2025 to build a future-ready sports workforce.
