Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai announced that the 'Mumbai-Karnataka' region will now be renamed as "Kittur Karnataka region". Due to border dispute, it has been decided to change the name of this area.
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the Hyderabad-Karnataka region has been already renamed as "Kalyana Karnataka".
