Himachal Pradesh signed an MoC with Spray Engineering Devices Ltd to establish the country’s first integrated manufacturing facility for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Green Hydrogen, and 2G Ethanol in Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh (BBN), Solan district, with an investment of ₹1,400 crore.
The project, aligned with Himachal Pradesh’s goal to become a 'green energy' state by March 2026, will require an initial 30 MW of green hydrogen and is expected to create 1,000 jobs.

India will establish four advanced quantum fabrication hubs worth ₹720 crore to boost quantum innovation and strengthen technological self-reliance.
