Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has announced his retirement from T20 International cricket at the age of 35, choosing to prioritize his Test and ODI career. Starc, who made his T20I debut in 2012, represented Australia in 65 matches, claiming 79 wickets, the second-highest for his country after Adam Zampa. A vital member of Australia’s 2021 T20 World Cup-winning squad, Starc featured in five of the six T20 World Cups, missing only the 2016 edition due to injury.
