Neeraj Chopra and Mirabai Chanu is one of the notable winners of the 2022 Sportstar Aces Awards.
Mirabai Chanu has also won the Sportswoman of the Year (Individual Sports) award, which she shares with 2020 Tokyo Boxing bronze medalist Lovlina Borgohain.
Mirabai won India's first medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after clinching silver in the women's 49 kg event. This is India's first silver in weightlifting at the Olympics.
R Ashwin (Player of the Year, Cricket), Mithali Raj (Female Player of the Year, Cricket), Rupinder Pal Singh and Harmanpreet Singh (Player of the Year, Team Game), and Savita Punia (Player of the Year, Team Game) like some other big winners have also been honored in this.
