  • The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) launched the AI Impact Startup Book on 18 February 2026 during the India AI Impact Summit, presenting a first-of-its-kind consolidated repository of AI solutions being developed in India.
  • The compendium highlights innovations across sectors like healthcare, agriculture, education, and waste-tech, as well as foundation models, voice- and vision-based applications, and edge AI solutions.
  • Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, MeitY, emphasized that the next phase of India’s AI journey involves scaling impactful solutions from pilot projects to large-scale adoption, enabling India to become the “use-case capital.”
