The Maharashtra government, in partnership with Microsoft, has unveiled MahaCrimeOS AI—an advanced AI-powered cybercrime investigation platform showcased by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella in Mumbai. Developed by CyberEye with MARVEL and Microsoft IDC, the system has already cut investigation time by 80% and enabled near 100% digital case registration across 23 Nagpur police stations. With plans to expand to all 1,100 police stations, the platform will offer instant case creation, multilingual data extraction and AI-driven legal assistance, marking a major leap in modernising law enforcement.
