  • Lionel Messi was awarded the 'Best Foreign Player' in France's Ligue 1 for the 2022-23 season with Paris Saint-Germain.
  •  The 36-year-old Argentine has already left the French club for a new stint in the USA with Inter Miami.
  • At Paris Saint Germain, he played for two seasons and managed to win the Ligue 1 title twice.
  • Inter Miami is an American professional soccer club based in Fort Lauderdale. Established in 2018, the club began to play in Major League Soccer in the 2020 season.
  • He won four UEFA Champions League titles with Barcelona in 2005-06, 2008-09, 2010-11, and 2014-15 seasons.
  • Messi has won a total of seven Ballon d'Or titles in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, and 2021. 
  • He also won the European Golden Shoe, which is given to the top goalscorer at the end of each season in Europe. 
  • He won it in 2009-10, 2011-12, 2012-13, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons.
  • He won the FIFA World Cup Golden Ball (best player in the final) in 2014 and 2022 and FIFA World Cup Silver Boot in 2022.
