  • Lahore's preliminary air quality index is 400, which is considered hazardous.
  • The ongoing pollution issue in Lahore, Pakistan's second largest metropolis, has affected the lives and health of millions of people.
  • There are 5 types of pollutants used to calculate AQI.
  • These pollutants are particulate matter, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and ground level ozone.
  • An AQI grade of 150-200 is considered unhealthy.
  • 201-300 is more harmful.
  • 300 and above is seriously dangerous.
