  • Kochi Queens won the overall championship in the first Asmita Sailing League, securing six gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.
  • In the under-19 category, Hyderabad Queens won the title, while in the under-23 category, Kochi Queens claimed four out of five competitions. 
  • This was the country's first sailing league, with teams named after cities. Other teams included Chennai Rani, Deccan Queen, Pune, Bhopal Waves Queen, Cuttack Rowing, Ludhiana Team Rowing, and Kolkata R Oars.
