Kochi Queens won the overall championship in the first Asmita Sailing League, securing six gold, two silver, and one bronze medal.
In the under-19 category, Hyderabad Queens won the title, while in the under-23 category, Kochi Queens claimed four out of five competitions.
This was the country's first sailing league, with teams named after cities. Other teams included Chennai Rani, Deccan Queen, Pune, Bhopal Waves Queen, Cuttack Rowing, Ludhiana Team Rowing, and Kolkata R Oars.
