  • Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan declared Kochi a "dementia-friendly city" while launching the Udbodh dementia-friendly district programme.
  • Udbodh is a collaboration between the Cochin University of Science and Technology's Neuro Science department, the Ernakulam district administration, and the Kochi Municipal Corporation.
  • The project's first phase was opened by the Chief Minister.
  • The project's goal is to raise public awareness of dementia's rising prevalence.
