  • Indian politician and former Health Minister of Kerala, KK Shailaja's autobiography 'My Life as a Comrade' has launched by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
  • In her new book, My Life as a Comrade, co-written with Manju Sara Rajan, former CEO of the Kochi Biennale Foundation and journalist, Shailaja writes about the course of her life that started in a small settlement in Malabar and eventually led her to a Cabinet position in the State government.
  • The book is originally written in English and co-authored by Manju Sara Rajan. 
  • The Malayalam translation of the work will be done by writer S Sithara. 
  • KK Shailaja said that the autobiography was written following the request made by the publishers when she served as the minister for health.
