Kerala is now preparing to introduce 'Sabari rice' against the sale of 'Bharat rice' by the central government, which will soon be available in the supply depot.
'Sabari ke rice' will be acquired at Rs 40.11 per kg and sold at a subsidised rate of Rs 29 per kg.
All ration card holders can buy 5 kg of rice every month.
