Justice Subhasis Talapatra was on Tuesday sworn in as the 33rd Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.
The oath was administered to him by Governor Ganeshi Lal. He succeeds Justice S Muralidhar, who retired on 7 August 2023.
The Supreme Court Collegium had approved the name of Justice Talapatra for the post.
