Joint Military Exercise Austrahind is being organized in Australia

Austrahind joint military exercise is conducted between the Indian and Australian armies.
In the year 2023, it is being organized till 6th December.
This joint military exercise is being conducted in Perth, Australia.
This is the second edition of joint military exercise Austrahind.
The Indian Army team includes 60 soldiers from a battalion of Gorkha Rifles.
The Australian Army contingent of 60 personnel will be from the 13th Brigade.
Exercise AustraHind was launched in 2022 and the first edition was held in Mahajan, Rajasthan.
It is planned to make it an annual training program to be conducted alternately in India and Australia.
This joint exercise will promote exchange of ideas and joint practice of tactics, techniques and procedures for conducting tactical operations.
