President Droupadi Murmu appoints Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan to assume additional responsibilities as Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, following the resignation of Tamilisai Soundararajan on March 18, 2024.
President Droupadi Murmu accepted Soundararajan's resignation and appointed CP Radhakrishnan as the interim Governor of Telangana.
Soundararajan, previously the president of BJP's Tamil Nadu unit, assumed the role of Telangana Governor in November 2019, later taking on additional duties as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
