  • ISRO successfully completed the flight acceptance hot testing of the cryogenic engine for the LVM3-M6 mission on March 14, 2025, at IPRC, Mahendragiri.
  • For the first time, the CE20 cryogenic engine was tested for 100 seconds in non-vacuum conditions with a nozzle protection system.
  • This new testing method reduced setup time and effort, leading to faster delivery of cryogenic stages and improved mission effectiveness.
  • The CE20 engine successfully met all testing objectives and will be integrated into the cryogenic upper stage of the LVM3-M6 mission scheduled for launch in the second half of 2025.
