The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has launched Bima Sugam, a single digital platform for all insurance needs, including life, health, motor, travel, property, agricultural, and general insurance. The portal allows customers to compare, purchase, renew, manage, and claim policies online, improving transparency, reducing costs, and increasing insurance penetration.
