International Geeta Mahotsav is being organized till 24th December.
This festival is being organized in Kurukshetra, Haryana.
The festival was inaugurated by the country's Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar.
The theme of this festival has been kept as 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Srimad Bhagwat Geeta and Global Unity'.
Assam has been made the main partner state in this festival.
International Gita Mahotsav was started in the year 1989.
It was given the status of national festival in the year 2002.
From the year 2019, it started being organized in the country as well as abroad.
The festival will be held in the United States in the year 2024.

World renowned tabla maestro Pt. Swapan Chaudhary Kolkata was awarded the National Tansen Award for the year 2023.
