Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan participated at the opening session of ‘Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa’ in Senegal.
The event was inaugurated by President of Senegal, Macky Sall in Dakar.
This is the first time that India is participating in the forum at a Ministerial level.
For two days delegates and participants in the conference will focus on the continent's security challenges. The event is attended by ministers, the military, and representatives of international organizations.
