International Firefighter’s Day is observed every year on May 4th
This day is primarily dedicated to all firefighter personnel who sacrificed their lives while saving people and property.
The primary purpose of commemorating this day is to commemorate and honour professional firefighters from throughout the world.
In 1999, International Firefighters Day was established to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifices made by firefighters worldwide.
