  • The theme for International Day of Forests 2022 is “Forests and sustainable production and consumption”.
  • The day aims to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests, and trees outside forests, for the benefit of current and future generations as well as to increase the public awareness among communities about the values, significance and contributions of the forests to balance the life cycle on the earth.
