The Indian Navy’s INS Nistar, an indigenously designed Diving Support Vessel, is participating in Exercise Pacific Reach 2025 in Singapore, involving over 40 nations. INS Nistar will serve as the mothership for Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicles (DSRVs), taking part in submarine rescue exercises and expert exchanges. The exercise has two phases: the harbour phase with discussions, symposiums, and cross-deck visits, and the sea phase featuring submarine intervention and rescue operations in the South China Sea.
