  • Iga Swiatek claimed the second WTA 1000 title of her career, and her fourth WTA singles title overall, with a scintillating display in the Qatar Open championship match. Swiatek won the final 10 games of the clash.
  • She defeated fourth seed Estonia's Annette Kontavet 6-2, 6-0 in the final.
  • It was Switek’s second WTA 1000 title.
