  • India has dedicated the first set of indigenously developed next-generation Armored Engineer Reconnaissance Vehicles to the Indian Army.
  • The vehicles were inducted into the Indian Army's Corps of Engineers at a ceremony in Pune attended by Chief of Army Staff Gen MM Naravane.
  • Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) designed the vehicle, which has been built by Ordnance Factory Medak and Bharat Electronics Limited.
