According to a recent Wood Mackenzie report, India will become the world's second largest solar module manufacturer by 2025.
Currently, China is the world's largest solar module manufacturer.
Its global share is 80%.
Vietnam is in second place with 5% share.
India is at third position with 3% share.
India and the US have announced over 200 GW of planned module capacity by 2022.
India's solar photovoltaic module manufacturing capacity will increase from the current level of about 37 GW to over 60 GW by 2025.
