  • India and the US are conducting Tiger Triumph-24, a bilateral tri-service exercise from March 18 to 31, aimed at enhancing cooperation in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) operations.
  • The primary objective of Tiger Triumph-24 is to develop interoperability between the armed forces of both countries, enabling seamless coordination during HADR missions.
  • The exercise includes a Harbour Phase scheduled from March 18 to 25, during which personnel from both Indian and US navies will engage in various activities like training visits, expert exchanges, sports events, and social interactions.
  • Following the Harbour Phase, the Sea Phase will commence, where ships with embarked troops will undertake Maritime, Amphibious, and HADR operations, responding to simulated scenarios.
  • Indian Navy ships, aircraft, Indian Army personnel, and Rapid Action Medical Team (RAMT) are actively involved, along with US Navy ships carrying troops from the US Marine Corps and US Army, highlighting the comprehensive participation of both nations in the exercise.
